No to stealth suburbanisation

There seem to be an awful lot of people who should know better making the case for more and more housing regardless of the environmental cost in terms of loss of countryside and green space.

We only have a limited amount of space in England and we should be taking measures to encourage net emigration to reduce pressure on housing rather than encouraging ever more immigration. We are simply too full and all our lives are the poorer as a result of the overcrowding which Labour is forcing on us.

At a minimum we ought to ban all significant new housing development in Southern England to encourage entrepeneurs to shift their energies and enterprises to areas such as Scotland which has been losing its population for many years.
